The philosophy in question fails to acknowledge that although it is impossible to separate politics and religion, it is imperative that we separate church and state.
It is a philosophy preached by for-profit “prophets” who claim to have a lock on “religious truth.”
It is a philosophy that ignores the fact that our nation’s Founding Documents were intentionally written with a great deal of forethought to prohibit proponents of any religious belief from using the powers of government to bolster their cause.
It is a philosophy that disregards our Constitution (Article VI & Amendment I, respectively), which clearly states that “no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States” … and that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”
It is a philosophy that rules through derision and division.
It is a philosophy that perennially attacks the credibility of a free press – for disseminating truth.
It is a philosophy that benefits a small but powerful minority – favoring those who have the most.
It is a philosophy whose biggest economic export is the American Middle Class Job.
It is a philosophy that frequently tramples the Constitution while perversely claiming to support it.
It is a philosophy that is all too willing to use the coercive powers of government to achieve its objectives.
It is a philosophy that denigrates those who object as being unpatriotic, ungodly, and immoral.
It is philosophy that has replaced government by “We the People” with a corrupt and rigged system that is of the Corporation, by the Banker, and for the Oligarch.
To counter this philosophy – and table it – the purpose and mission of John E. Pluribus Unum Smith is “to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States” … “in order to form a more perfect union” … that is truly “of the people, by the people, and for the people.”
